News Letter 78 Malinauskas and Country Cabinet are coming to Town

On the 8th of October a Country Forum will be held at the Encounter Bay Football Club. BBQ 4.00pm-5.00pm Forum 5.00pm-6.30pm. This will give you a great opportunity to here what State Government has planned for our Fleurieu Region and give you access to the Premier and Ministers to ask questions. Council Watch is particularly concerned about the lack of progress with the Sports and Recreation Precinct. The Heads of Agreement with the developer has been extended again to the end of December, with council offering no information about costings and contract negotiations. Costings from 2024 have blown out significantly. Transparency and due diligence appear to be councils biggest weakness, the rate payer has the right to know the financial exposure we are being subjected to.
